Measuring 5200 metres in length, this course overlooks Estoril and the sea. Winding its way through eucalyptus, mimosa and pine trees, it offers exceptional colour and challenge, forcing players to use tactics based on accuracy rather than distance.

An iconic course
Golf do Estoril, one of Portugal’s oldest and most iconic courses, was founded in 1929 and redesigned in 1936 by Mackenzie Ross. It is renowned for hosting two of the most significant tournaments: the Portuguese Open for 20 years and the International Amateur Championship for 63 years. Many famous players have competed at Estoril, including Ballesteros, Montgomerie, Sam Torrance, Canizares, Gene Sarazen, Peter Alliss and Bernard Gallacher.
